Dear Matrox RT.X2 Users,
Dear Matrox RT.X2 Users,
Release 4.2.1 for Matrox Axio is now available for you to download. This release will be made public on March 19 and a message will be sent to the registered users.
Matrox Axio.utils 4.2.1 provides the following new features:
• Support for creating 1080p @ 29.97 fps sequences.
• Support for XDCAM EX split clips and XDCAM EX metadata.
• Overall stability improvements.
The new Matrox Multi™ input/output cards bring a new level of channel density to Mac Pro and Apple Xserve systems. In a single PCIe slot, a Matrox Multi card provides up to four independent inputs or outputs with up to 16 embedded audio channels per SDI stream. User-selectable combinations of 3G, HD, SD, and Dual Link are supported. The Matrox Multi cards are designed to let users get the most from the valuable expansion slots in Apple systems and eliminate the expense of multiple systems in many applications. The innovative features of the Matrox Multi cards make them the ideal choice for capture/playout servers, clip and still stores, character generators, graphics/production servers, and automation/master control units. The Matrox Multi cards are supported by the Matrox Software Development Kit (SDK) for Mac.

Quality HD-SDI scan converters with genlock typically cost thousands of dollars each and SDI audio embedders are often required. Costs balloon when stations require multiple units. Matrox Convert DVI is very inexpensive by comparison and allows system audio to be embedded in the SDI signal.
Matrox Convert DVI controls are provided via a simple PC-based user interface. By simply dragging a mouse, rather than fiddling with buttons on the unit itself, users can choose to output the entire screen or a region of interest of any size. Premium features such as a flicker reduction filter, an underscan mode, customizable presets with user assignable hotkeys, password protection, and a stand-alone mode ensure optimal flexibility for many different applications.
| The Matrox Convert DVI kit contains the following items: | ![]() |

| • | Matrox Convert DVI scan converter | |
| • | DVI and system audio loop-through cable, 1 meter | |
